Humanoid robots

The race to build humanoid robots is picking up speed

What is a humanoid robot?

A humanoid robot is a machine that is designed to mimic the human body. Equipped with arms, legs, a head and sometimes a face, it can move and interact in a human-like way. These robots are designed to communicate with humans and perform tasks that are natural to us.

Natural interaction

The humanoid robots can communicate and understand in a human way, which makes collaboration much easier.

Automation

They can take on repetitive or physically demanding tasks to reduce the workload.

Diversity

Humanoid robots can be used in a variety of environments, from hospitals to educational institutions.

Efficiency

By automating and supporting human work, humanoid robots help to increase productivity.

Mirokai

With Miroki, the aim was to create a robot that is not only accepted, but also particularly useful. This involved solving three central challenges in robotics:

  1. Automated navigation: Miroki, which stands on a rollable ball, can move freely. Unlike two-legged robots, it can be easily pushed aside, making it ideal for social and work environments.

  2. Automated grasping: Miroki’s hands are designed for special grasps, known as “runes”. This high gripping success rate of 97% significantly exceeds the market standard and makes it extremely reliable.

  3. Semantic and emotional interactions: Miroki understands and executes voice commands, which gives it the necessary ability to interact.

Miroki is versatile and can be used in various settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, hotels, restaurants, and more. It can carry up to 3 kilograms and is especially useful in environments where human relationships take precedence over logistical tasks and where finding staff is challenging.

Miroki is also ideally suited for use in technical colleges and universities, where it can be integrated into research and teaching activities. This innovative humanoid robot is available through us, and we are happy to provide advice to help you find the best solution for your institution.

G1

The humanoid robot G1 from Unitree Robotics stands out with its advanced technical capabilities, exceptional flexibility, and attractive cost-performance ratio. Standing 1.20 meters tall and weighing approximately 35 kg, the G1 represents a significant advancement in the field of humanoid robotics. Its fully electric drive system provides impressive mobility, allowing it to move at speeds of up to 2 meters per second.

A notable feature of the G1 is its compact design, which allows it to be folded for easy and convenient transport. Depending on the chosen version, the robot is equipped with 23 to 43 powerful joint motors, providing it with exceptional maneuverability. These motors can generate a torque of up to 120 Nm, enabling the G1 to lift loads of up to 3 kg.

These attributes make the G1 a versatile and innovative solution that sets new standards in humanoid robotics, offering numerous possibilities for research, development, and learning.

PEPPER

PEPPER is the first personal and emotional humanoid robot designed by Soft Bank Robotics. Its special abilities consist of recognizing basic human emotions and adapting its behaviour to the mood of the person it is talking to. PEPPER is a humanoid robot that can talk to you, recognize your face, react to your emotions, move from place to place and live autonomously.

CRUZR

CRUZR is the latest humanoid robot on the market with the best navigation solution. CRUZR is able to take you quickly and precisely to the right place and move autonomously from point A to B. With the best microphone currently available, CRUZR enables a perfect dialog with your company. In addition, CRUZR has a high-quality display to present your products and images in the best possible way. Thanks to its charging station and long-lasting battery, CRUZR offers sufficient service throughout the day.
